Job Title: Junior Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Chilliwack
Job Type: Part Time
Please note: This is a temporary position to cover an employee leave and will end when the permanent employee returns to work.
Wage Range: The hourly wage for this role is typically $19.00 - $28.00 and represents a range across all of PrairieCoast’s BC and Alberta locations. It is influenced by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant training, and work location.
In compliance with the BC provincial government mandates, we are incorporating broad wage ranges into this posting to adhere to the wage transparency requirements.

As an Accounts Payable Clerk you will:
Be directly responsible for performing high volume processing/data entry and related duties in disbursing accounts payable. The accounts payable Clerk will also ensure the timely and accurate processing of payment documents and any other accounting transactions related to accounts payable management.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Interest in the Accounting Profession
- Experience performing financial duties (cash handling etc.)
- Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in a Windows Environment with strong technical skills with MS Excel
